How to participate?

1. Build and Launch a mobile app

Build an app from scratch and publish to App Store or/and Google Play Market

2. Work Solo or in a small team

Teams can have up to 3 members

3. Stick to the Hackathon Period

All work must happen between December 1st and December 31st.

Important: Use Git for regular commits to track progress.

4. Submit your app

Submit your app before December 31st to compete for the prizes.

More details on how to submit will be provided later. Make sure to be signed up to receive announcements.

Judging Criteria

0. Non-negotiables

- Is the app published on App Store OR Play Market?
- Is the first version published during the main hackathon phase?

1. Innovation

- How unique or creative is the idea?
- Does the app address a real problem?

2. Business Viability

- Does the app have a clear target audience?
- Is there potential for monetization or adoption?

3. Functionality

- Does the app work as intended?
- Are the core features implemented and usable?

4. User Experience

- How intuitive and user-friendly is the app?
- Is the design visually appealing, cohesive, and consistent across the app?

Should I use a specific technology? React Native?

No, we do not require you to use any specific technology. Use the one the you know best!

Can I work in a team or only Solo?

You can work Solo, or in a team of maximum 3 people.

However, the prizes mentioned on this page are for the project. If you work in the team, it will be up to you to decide how you split the prize if you win.
